It\u2019s good stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit\u00a0distributes them.\u00a0<\/em><strong><em><sup>5\u00a0<\/sup><\/em><\/strong><em>There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord.\u00a0<\/em><strong><em><sup>6\u00a0<\/sup><\/em><\/strong><em>There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone\u00a0it is the same God\u00a0at work.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<cite><em>1 Corinthians 12:4-6<\/em><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Theodore Roosevelt said, \u201cComparison is the thief of Joy.\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp; Thank you for those wise words, Mr. President.&nbsp; I find myself wishing to have something, anything, and everything that someone else has \u2026 daily.&nbsp; And when that longing to be like others enters my heart, my joy goes away as quickly as the thoughts came sneaking in and taking its place.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Lord created us differently because He is brilliant enough to do so.&nbsp; \u201cCookie Cutter\u201d people would be boring.&nbsp; Everyone having the same talent would be ho-hum.&nbsp; Tasks being done the same way every day would get us know where.&nbsp;&nbsp; God took great joy in making us individually.&nbsp; One God with ultimate creativity crafted us just the way He wants us to be.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When we choose not to embrace, be thankful for, or be comfortable in the very person God creates us to be \u2026 we lose our joy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Think of your Maker.<\/strong>&nbsp; God made you in His image.&nbsp; He made you wonderfully.&nbsp; And He thinks you are worth the making.&nbsp; Thank Him for your life; ask Him what you should do with the way He created you, and think of Him when you see yourself in the mirror.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Think of others.<\/strong>&nbsp; When you think of others, there is very little room to think of yourself.&nbsp; We lose sight of the individual gifts we have been given to share with others when we are wanting someone else\u2019s gifts.&nbsp; God is so excited about how He made YOU.&nbsp; Where you are, who you are and the way you function will indeed be used to bless others.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Think of yourself.<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp; Study who you are, find out what you love to do, search for what brings you great Joy.&nbsp; These are the very specific ways you were crafted by God.&nbsp; These will bring Him Glory and bring you great joy.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next time you are sitting in an airport or walking through a grocery store, look up.\u00a0 Look around at all the different types of people.\u00a0 It\u2019s amazing! \u00a0Not one of us are the same \u2026 and that\u2019s just looking at the exterior.\u00a0 God has some kind of creativity, and He didn\u2019t hold back on us!\u00a0 He loves us so much, He took special time and efforts to make us like nothing else He created.\u00a0 Be glad for that. It is a great gift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Camper Corner<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grab some paper or open up a note on your phone.\u00a0 Think of five things different and great about you.\u00a0 If you need help, ask your mom or dad, friend or teacher. \u00a0How could those things be used to honor God?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ever think the grass is greener when you think of a friend who is good at something you\u2019re not very good at doing?
