Kelli shares more\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scripture<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the\u00a0Lord\u00a0sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the\u00a0Lord\u00a0looks on the heart.<\/em><\/p>\n<cite><em>I Samuel 16:7<\/em><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reflect<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not much gets unnoticed by the people we live with \u2026 the good, the bad, the ugly.&nbsp; They see the real us all of the time, and they still love us.&nbsp; And so does God.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, if the one who created us and the ones having to put up with us continue to love us through the good and bad days, why do we feel like we must put on an act for others?&nbsp; By no means am I giving us all permission to open up the gates to emotional typhoons and poorly timed opinion sharing.&nbsp; Rather, it\u2019s a prodding for us to be the wonderful creations the Lord created us to be \u2026 not what the world is asking us to be.&nbsp; There is amazing freedom and joy in being the REAL you in this REAL world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Answer the question asked.<\/strong>\u00a0 When asked, \u201cHow are you doing?\u201d\u00a0 Don\u2019t be afraid to answer with truth and hope. \u201cYou know, things are a hard right now, but we are trusting in Jesus and grateful for life.\u201d The burden of putting on an act is lifted from you and the person you are confiding in has just become an encourager and team mate to you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Allow approachability.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 It is amazing how much deeper your friendships will go, when you allow yourself to be real.\u00a0 Have you ever discovered the girl who seems perfect also has struggles?\u00a0 It allows you to breathe a little deeper when y\u2019all are together.\u00a0 She seems more approachable and in turn you learn so much more from walking through the hard seasons or problems together.\u00a0 That is something we don\u2019t want to miss out on!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Allow others to be real.<\/strong>\u00a0 As others allow themselves to be vulnerable to you, allow them.\u00a0 Don\u2019t react, don\u2019t let your mouth hang open.\u00a0 Just listen.\u00a0 And Pray. And Learn.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deep, Christ-centered, life-giving relationships are created when we are okay with being real about heart stuff!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Camper Corner<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Who in your school, neighborhood, team etc. do you see as being easy to know?\u00a0 Why do you think that? How confident are you that God knows your heart and is crazy about you?
